When the laptop reboots the laptop monitor turns right on backlight and all... and stays on. It does sound like there is something wrong with the inverter... or some other related component But so far the issue is ALMOST managable. I'm really looking for a way to fix it on the go.

If you regularly keep your computer plugged in, but it has wiggled loose and now the battery is empty, your computer may not be getting power for this reason.

Oct 27, 2020 · My inclination is to leave the charger plugged in while I'm working all day, then unplug it when done with work in late afternoon. I use the laptop for zoom calls and other things unplugged, to 'exercise' the battery so it can drain down and charge back up - but that's occasional - several times/week, where the plugged in charger is daily practice.
